/ Sziget Festival - Day 4 / Bad weather, Bastille (Dan caught the bracelet), Lily Allen, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis - my sister caught his drumstick! & sitting on chairs in the front row?

On Thursday (14th August) the weather got bad; it was cold and rainy so everything was muddy and I left my wellies at home because I didn't have any space left in my luggage (Honestly I couldn't pack them anywhere). So I walked around with wet and muddy feet all day...yay! 

All I can say about this day; it was crazy!!! 

To sum up what we were up to: we got to the main stage for Mary Popkinds who were performing before Bastille, we were standing in the first row - wet, cold and muddy for a half day but it was all worth it because you don't see Bastille, Lilly Allen and Macklemore so up close every day.

This was the second time I saw them live and they were great as always. I love the fact that their intro music, before they came on stage, was from Twin Peaks. It was so cool to see everyone jump during Of the night and sing during Pompeii.

We also made a bracelet for Dan Smith and we threw it on stage and he caught it :) You can read what happened here (X)

I have to say that Lilly Allen live wasn't really what I expected. The show was colurful and all but she kind of didn't impress me. Here is a weird not at all clear photo of her:

Macklemore and Ryan Lewis on the other hand were just incredible live. So much energy, the dancers, the lights, fire, smoke and confetti, everything was just amazing. You can find more photos here: (X)

At the end of the Macklemore show my sister caught Ryan Lewis's drumstick and almost injured my lip because she suddenly jumped and awkwardly bumped in my face (thanks). I didn't know what was going on in that moment I just felt pain in my lower lip. Haha.

Also I have to tell you about a couple (from England?) who were at the barrier next to us. So before everything started the boyfriend went to a bar -  and brought two chairs, for himself and his girlfriend, so they wouldn't have to stand there for hours (which was a good idea). We, then started to chat a bit and shared the cookies that we had with us because we were all hungry. And the funny thing was - they literally sat there for three entire sets (Mary Popkinds, Bastille and Lilly Allen) and no one from the security said or did anything and a guy from first aid just looked at them and smiled - they probably thought they couldn't stand or something and it was just so hilarious to them...it was funny though.

At the start of Macklemore's set they gave the chairs to the security and people pushed us all into the barrier because that day was probably the most crowded day of the festival.
